About

Stephen Rodney

Originally a solicitor who had experience both in large and small firms, Stephen went into legal recruitment in 1990 and co-founded Fox Rodney Search Limited, one of the best-known legal recruitment companies, in 2000. He led the firm as CEO from 2013-2020 and then as Executive Chair until March 2023. Since 2000, Stephen has been responsible for many of the highest profile lateral and team moves in the London legal market, and has gained unparalleled insight into the successful (or not!) integration of law firm laterals into their new firms.

Stephen graduated from the Meyler Campbell Mastered Coaching course in 2023 and is now spearheading Intogreat Coaching, which has been established in order to offer clients independent strategic advice and support in relation to the integration of lateral recruits into law firms and other institutions, so using both his previous recruitment and management experience and his Executive Coaching training.

Since 2013 Stephen has worked in various pro bono roles including:

  • A Bereavement Volunteer for Cruse UK, the largest Bereavement Charity

  • A volunteer at Guy’s Cancer Hospital

  • A volunteer vaccinator during the COVID pandemic.

Stephen lives and works in Central London and has twin grown up daughters. He is an Arsenal Season Ticket Holder!
